PULASKI TOWN FINANCE OFFICE HONORED

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has given Pulaski's town finance office its highest rating for excellence in financial reporting.

The certificate of achievement was presented this week to Anita F. Taylor who, during the period covered by the panel of judges, was the town's acting finance director. She is now assistant to recently appointed Finance Director Max Beyer.

Judging criteria included a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to communicate the town's financial story and motivate potential users to read its comprehensive annual financial report. The association serves 12,625 government finance professionals.
