ITHACA, N.Y. - Park Communications Inc., a newspaper and broadcasting group recently sold to two Southern investors, plans to move its corporate headquarters to Kentucky this summer, the company said Wednesday. Park is parent of WSLS-TV in Roanoke.
The move to Lexington, expected by August, hinges on Kentucky's anticipated approval of economic incentives offered to cover start-up and rental costs, company President Wright Thomas said.
Park Communications was sold May 11 for $711.4 million to two investors, Donald R. Tomlin and Gary B. Knapp, who lives in Lexington.
