COURT DAY IN NEWBERN

The Olde Newbern Foundation will sponsor the annual Court Day Saturday June 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will include an open house and a mini-fair. Informational tours will include the old jail, hanging house, mercantile store and other locations. A variety of produce, hand wrought and food items will also be displayed. "Second chance," sale items will include books, magazines, antiques, and yard sale and flea market items.

The Newbern United Methodist Church women's group will also have its annual yard sale on Courthouse Square.
