Ostar, a first-team All-American, finished the 1995 season with a .650 save percentage for the Maroons, who won their second straight Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship this year. Ostar was the ODAC player of the year.
A native of Clayton, N.C., Ostar registered 682 saves at Roanoke, the fourth-highest total in Division III history. Her .620 career save percentage is seventh all-time nationally.
Roanoke's Elyse Andrews was named first-team All-American and Francesca Foord-Kelcey was named to the third team. Carrie Niederer of Washington and Lee was named third-team All-American.

Graig Fantuzzi, a junior outfielder at Washington and Lee, was named to the GTE College Division Academic All-America baseball team.
Fantuzzi, a junior double-majoring in business and engineering, is ranked first in the junior class with a grade point average in excess of 4.0. The Toms River, N.J., native was named second-team All-ODAC after batting .326 with 11 stolen bases in 27 games.
Washington and Lee's Shaun McKenzie was one of eight players who received the Scholar-Athlete Award from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
McKenzie, a native of Sykesville, Md., graduated earlier this month with a 3.2 grade point average as a biology major. He earned honorable mention All-America and first-team All-ODAC honors in each of the last two seasons.
The USILA also honored former Generals athletic director Bill McHenry, a 1954 graduate, with the Joseph Julien Award for service to the game of lacrosse.
