BOND, Della Payne, 70, of Max Meadows, passed away Thursday, June 8, 1995, at Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville. Born September 8, 1924 in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Ruben Hasten Payne and Cora Graham Payne. Mrs. Bond is survived by one daughter, Joan Beasley, Max Meadows; two sisters, Emmie Nichols and Carrie Bond, both of Max Meadows; two brothers, Harvey Payne, Max Meadows and John Payne, Martinsville; three grandchildren, Steven Beasley, Kevin Beasley and Dyer Beasley. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 1995 at the Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Kenneth Hopkins and Elder Sidney Rakes officiating. CLARKE, Nathan Clay, 76, of 701 Zee St., Martinsville, died Thursday, June 8, 1995. He was born July 18, 1918 in Danville, the son of the late Fred Sheppard Clarke and Lillie Hardy Clarke. He retired in 1980 as a supervisor of Equifax, Inc. and was a veteran of World War II in the Army. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Men. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Foster Clark. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Linda) Livingood, Blue Ridge; two nephews; one niece. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 4:30 p.m. at Roselawn Mausoleum with Honor Guard to fold flag. The Rev. E.T. Herndon officiating. JAMISON, Ruth A., 99, of Rocky Mount, formerly of Blacksburg, died Friday, June 9, 1995. Born in Boones Mill on May 22, 1896, she was the daughter of the late Owen B. and Augusta Parker Jamison. She received her education at Longwood College, Farmville and Columbia University in New York, N.Y. She taught elementary school for a number of years and was later employed by the Extension Service of Virginia. In 1935 she became Active Extension Home Furnishing and Home Management Specialist in Blackburg and served as Home Furnishing Specialist until her retirement in June 1961. Miss Jamison is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lois J. Yost; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Fairmont Baptist Church, Boon es Mill with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. LYNN, Margaret Austin, 72, of Buena Vista, passed from this life unto her heavenly home Thursday, June 8, 1995, at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington. She was born May 25,1923, in Roanoke. She was a daughter of the late David M. Austin and Ethel Sheltman Austin. She was a member of the Calvary Brethren Church and was presently the church secretary. She was a charter member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Johnnie Lynn; and her sons, John R. Lynn, Jr., his wife Brenda, and their daughters, Jackie and Shannon; David M. Lynn and his sons, David M. Lynn, Jr., Tim othy R. Lynn, Jr., and his wife, Tammy, a daughter, Heather and son, Robbie, all of Richmond; daughter, Jane Higginbotham and her husband, Randy, and their children, Laura, Kelly, Megan, and Aaron of Buena Vista. She is also survived by one sister, Helen Austin Berry, of Falls Church, Virginia. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Brethren Church with Pastor Kenneth Teague, Pastor Larry Coleman, and Pastor Joseph Grow officiating. WILBURN, Charles Frederick, 75, of Salem, passed away Friday, June 9, 1995, in a local hospital. Mr. Wilburn was born February 9, 1920, in Pearisburg. He was a veteran of World War II and retired with 27 years service from Singer Furniture Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Merrix Wilburn, his father, Victor Harrison Wilburn and his mother, Elizabeth Bowles Wilburn. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Wilburn of Salem, whose special care and devotion allowed his dad to remain at home until his passing, Charles S. and Esther Wilburn of Salem; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela S. and Glenn Tuck of Elliston; three granddaughters, Rachel and Elizabeth Wilburn of Salem, Brandy Tuck of Elliston; two grandsons, Travis Tuck of Elliston, Trent Wilburn of Salem; one brother, Roy Wilburn of Pearisburg; two sisters, Helen Gauitier of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Williams of Pearisburg.
