REPORTED EARNINGS

Rowe Furniture Corp., Arlington-based manufacturer with operations in Salem, reported net income of $609,000, or 5 cents per share, on shipments of $30.4 million for its second quarter ended May 28, compared with year-earlier $1.3 million, or 9 cents per share, on shipments of $26.5 million. For the six months, net income was $4.7 million, or 35 cents per share, on shipments of $59.1 million, compared with year-earlier $3 million, or 21 cents per share, on shipments of $53.5 million.
