SALEM - Registration for summer classes is taking place at National Business College. The school offers a variety of bachelor's and associate's degrees, diplomas, certificates and career training programs. Courses offered include business administration, computer science, professional secretarial (executive, medical and legal), data processing and accounting. Programs can be arranged to suit individual needs.

Humane society car wash Saturday

BLACKSBURG - The Humane Society of Montgomery County will have a car wash Saturday, June 24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The car wash will be at the Crestar Bank in front of the Radford K-Mart. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the society's no-kill shelter for dogs and cats. Call 382-7457.
