TREE-PLANTING TODAY

The Blacksburg High School Class of 1937 will plant a tree at Kipps Elementary School today at 4 p.m as part of its class reunion. The dogwood tree with deep pink blossoms will honor sisters Mae and Florence Kipps. Mae would like to attend the tree planting, but is in a nursing home, according to Mildred Lyons, member of the class of 1937. Florence Kipps is deceased.
