AUTHOR TO SIGN BOOKS TODAY

Michael DePasquale Jr., author of "Streetwise Safety for Children," will be at Felix Books and Gifts today from 4 to 6 p.m. He will sign books and give a self-defense demonstration.

DePasquale's book presents basic safety and self-defense techniques to teach children. Some of the topics the book covers include home security, latchkey kids, kidnapping, family abduction, vacation security, sexual abuse and strangers.
