WHO WILL BE THE NEXT MISS VIRGINIA?

Meet the young women who would be Miss Virginia. The 31 contestants are in rehearsals this week in preparation for the final competition this weekend at the Roanoke Civic Center auditorium. The new Miss Virginia will be crowned Saturday. Tickets for events Thursday-Friday are $5 to $9.50. Tickets for Saturday's finals, which begin at 9 p.m., are $15 and $8. 981-1201, 343-8100.

Rachael Snider

Snider, 22, from Roswell, Ga., is studying psychology at Liberty University, where she is a senior. She will sing.

Moseley, 19, from Chesapeake, is a junior at New York University majoring in women's studies. She will sing.
