City adds parking for postal customers

In an effort to increase on-street parking near the post office at Church Avenue and First Street, Roanoke has added three 15-minute parking spaces on the west side of First Street. The city also changed one-hour time limits on the meters of five parking spaces on the north side of Church Avenue to 30 minutes. The existing 30-minute spaces on the north side of Church Avenue have been changed to one-hour spaces to accommodate drivers with longer parking needs.
