OVERSEAS MAIL WILL COST MORE

The cost of sending mail out of the country goes up Sunday.

Letters to most countries will cost 60 cents per half ounce and 40 cents for each additional ounce. Post cards will cost 50 cents.

Letters to Canada will cost 46 cents for the first half ounce and 52 cents for an ounce under the new rates. Postcards will be 40 cents.

And writing to Mexico will cost 40 cents for the first half ounce and 46 cents for a full ounce. The post card rate will be 35 cents.
