LIBRARY FUND-RAISER

An intensive fundraising campaign has been launched by the Friends of the Floyd County Library and Bookmobile to assist with the automation of the Jessie Peterman branch library. The automation will provide better and more efficient library services that will allow patrons to locate and check the status of the entire collection at any of the three branches and two bookmobiles in the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library system. Patrons also will have access to the Internet, which provides information on thousands of topics.

Anyone interested in the Friends of the Library program can pick up an application at the Jessie Peterman Memorial Branch Library. Dues are $3 per year for individuals and $5 for families. For more questions, call Judy Lewis at 789-7277.
