This time it wasn't in the justice arena, but the football arena.
Roanoke police's football team, ``The Law,'' played a re-match against the Bland County Correctional Center guards Friday night at the Bland County High School stadium.
The fight was tougher than the 22-0 win at Victory Stadium June 11, but Roanoke got the necessary verdict - final score 10-7 in double overtime.
Bland's center, D.J. Moore, said about 200 people attended the game. Ticket proceeds will send the Bland County Bears football team to football camp this year.
``It was real close,'' Moore said of the game. ``We hit them and they hit us ... there was a lot of good hitting.''
Moore said the Roanoke team kicked a field goal to lock in the win.
The men plan to make the game an annual event and are talking about forming a league.
