RODNEY W. McNEIL, a member of the Roanoke County Board of Zoning Appeals, recently graduated from the 11th Virginia Certified Boards of Zoning Appeals Program. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to zoning.

MARK F. COLES of Roanoke recently was recognized by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants for exceptionally high scores on the November 1994 exam required to receive the CPA designation.

C. EDWARD BLACKWELL recently was named the Horace Mann Companies 1994 Life Rookie of the Year. Blackwell, a representative in the Blue Ridge Agency, joined Horace Mann in May 1993.

KENNETH L. MISCO, production manager of Virginia Building Services of Roanoke Inc., has earned the designation of Certified Graduate Remodeler from the National Association of Home Builders Remodelers Council. CGR is a national certification that recognizes a remodeler's professionalism, management experience and technical expertise.

JOHN SARBER has been named to the President's Leadership Team at Priority Management System, signifying top production among North American franchisees during 1994.

THE SOCIETY OF CHARTERED PROPERTY CASUALTY UNDERWRITERS BLUE RIDGE CHAPTER recently installed officers for 1995-96.

Harry L. Waldron is president; Robert D. Nave is president-elect. Other officers are: William G. Johnson, secretary; and Jesse N. Jones Jr., treasurer.

ELEANOR JONES ENGLISH, daughter of Washington Jones and the late Elinor A. Jones of Salem, recently was honored with the Black Nurse of the Year award for 1995 for her excellence and professionalism in the nursing practice.

TRUCK ENTERPRISES OF ROANOKE has been named Kenworth Truck Co.'s Southern Region Dealer of the Year.

The top score in each region qualifies for the regional Dealer of the Year award, and the top overall score in the United States qualifies for Kenworth's Dealer of the Year.
