Scott Dobson of West Potomac had a two-run single in the inning. The outburst gave the West an 8-0 lead.
MVP Michael Lewis knocked in two runs in the first inning as the West took a quick 2-0 lead. He also pitched three scoreless innings.
East MVP Andy Lee of Kecoughtan knocked in a pair of runs with a single as the team scored three times in the seventh inning. Lee also pitched three scoreless innings, the longest outing by any pitcher in the contest.
The East's Nick Ardagna of Western Branch hit the only home run, a solo shot over the left field wall in the ninth inning.
Among Timesland players, Robert Kaczmarek of Cave Spring went 2-for-2, scored the first run of the game, had an RBI, stole a base and was hit by a pitch.
Peter Bucklin of Floyd County went 2-for-2 with a double. He also scored a run as a pinch runner.
Chad Foutz of Franklin County went 0-for-3 but scored a run in the fifth inning after reaching on a fielders' choice.
Brian Alley of Fieldale-Collinsville went 0-for-1 but his based-loaded walk in the fifth brought home a run and he later scored in the inning. Alley also pitched 12/3 innings, allowing one run - the Ardagna homer - while striking out three.
Jason Berry of Magna Vista went 0-for-1 and was the pitcher during the East's three-run seventh inning, although he struck out three batters in the inning. Jeff Tucker of Covington went 0-for-2.
