OHIO FIRM TO BUY FORMER FLOW LABS SITE

An Ohio manufacturer next week will announce the purchase of a Dublin plant that could bring up to 50 jobs to Pulaski County within two years, according to the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance.

Mar-Bal Inc. is to announce its purchase of the former Flow Labs property. Jim Balogh, the company president, and Carolyn Balogh, the vice president, will be on hand to announce their 25-year-old firm's third major plant. Mar-Bal makes insulating materials that are sold to industries in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Mar-Bal's headquarters, design and manufacturing operation is in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Its second manufacturing plant is in Cuba, Mo..

The alliance, the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors and the county Industrial Development Authority helped the Baloghs in their search.
