MOTORCYCLE WRECK KILLS MAN, 22

A Copper Hill man was killed Friday afternoon when his motorcycle slammed into a utility junction box in Roanoke County.

Andrew Morgan, 22, a construction worker, had just left a work site in the Fairway Forest subdivision when he wrecked, said Sgt. David Wells of the Roanoke County Police Department.

Morgan traveled a few blocks down a hill on Hidden Woods Drive before he apparently lost control of the motorcycle and ran off the road just after 4 p.m.

Morgan was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he died a short time later, Wells said.
