She was a native of Roanoke and daughter of the late Richard B. and Irene Hege Pleasants. GRAHAM, Roy Amos Jr., 66, of Henry Avenue, Pulaski, died Wednesday night, July 12, 1995, at his home. He was born August 20, 1928, in Pulaski, the son of the late Ro y Amos Graham Sr. and Julia Emma Jones Graham. Mr. Graham graduated from Pulaski High School in 1946. He served in the United States Army for two years in Germany after World War II. Mr. Graham was a graduate of VPI & SU in 1954 with a degree in Accounting. He worked for Burlington Industries in Dublin, Va., Greensboro, N.C., and Altavista, Va. He began working for Jefferson Mills, Pulaski in 1966 and worked there until the time of his death, at which time he was Controller. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Pulaski, where he was a former Deacon, a former High School Sunday School Teacher, and was involved with the Youth Club. He was a volunteer with the Pulaski Daily Bread from the time it its' inception until his illness. He was a former coach in the youth soccer program at the Hensel Eckman YMCA, Pulaski. Surviving include his wife, Dianne Russell Graham, Pulaski; five children, Steven Sinclair Graham, Altavista, Ann Graham Schaffer, Richmond, Amy Heather Graham, Atlanta, Ga., Aaron Russell Graham, Harrisonburg, David Carson Graham, Pulaski; one brother, Samuel Monroe Graham, Augusta, W.Va.; one sister, Barbara Graham Settle, Sanford, N.C. HATTON, Virginia M., (``Pennie""), of Salem, died Thursday, July 13, 1995 following a two year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Rev. J. W. Hatton Jr., Roanoke County; daughters and son-in-law, Rehse Wilson, Roanoke, Cindy and Glenn Waldrep, Winchester; grandchildren, Sarah Hauck, Atlanta, Ga., Joshua Waldrep, Kylan Waldrep, Brittany Waldrep, all of Winchester; sisters and brothers, Jewel Bates, Jeanette Robertson, both of Leesburg, Fla., Saing Hofmeister, Cooper Landing, Alaska, Wallace White, Patsy Yarbrough, both of Leesburg, Fla., Michael White, Springfield; also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hatton served as Minister of Music for Fort Lewis Baptist Church, Salem, Keystone Baptist Church, Lynchburg, Hunting Creek Baptist Church, Big Island. She was a member of the Virginia Baptist Womens Chorale, president of Virginia Baptist Ministers Wives Organization. She was the first president of Glenvar Elementary School PTA. She organized the first pre-school program of Fort Lewis Baptist Church, an active member of University Baptist Church, Charlottesville, Fort Lewis Baptist Church, Roanoke County, Del Ray Baptist Church, Alexandria, Chestnut Avenue Baptist Church, and Keystone Baptist Church, Lynchburg. She was also active in deaf ministries. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 1995 at Fort Lewis Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Sprouse and the Rev. Leonard Southern officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. HOER, Lillian Eleanor, 68, of Roanoke passed away, Friday, July 14, 1995. She was Regent of The Catholics Daughter Court, Saint Patrick #1605, she was a member of the board of Our Lady of The Valley, Retirement Community and a member of the Catholic Historical Society of Roanoke. She was also a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Salem. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Marie Hoer. She is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Hoer Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph M. Jr. and Paula Hoer, John Michael Hoer, James Matthew H oer, Jerome Mark Hoer, Jeffery Marcus and Beth Hoer; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Gary Naff, Janet Marlene and Terence Terenzi, Jean Maureen and Jerry Tyree; grandchildren, Joseph M. HUNT, Jonathan Davis, 18, of 113 Gaddy Rd., Lynchburg, was called home by his Lord, Wednesday, July 12, 1995, in Gladys, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born in Lynchburg, September 14, 1976, the son of Garland Davis Hunt and Margaret ``Peg"" Walker Hunt. He attended Lynchburg Christian Academy, where he was a member of the 1992 State Championship Football Team. He ws a decorated cadet at Fishburne Military School and was a 1995 graduate of Heritage High School. He was a member of Old Forest Road Baptist Church, loved playing the drums and being with his friends. In addition to his parents, Jonathan is survived by a sister, Marjorie June Hunt of the home; his maternal grandpa rents, Mildred Bedsaul Walker and Percy Hatcher Walker of Fairfield; and his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Davis Hunt of Lynchburg. A service celebrating Jonathan's life will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, at Old Forest Road Baptist Church by the Rev. R. Wayne McCraw with interment following in Fort Hill Memorial Park. JANNEY, Curtis Edward, 45, of Check, died Friday, July 14, 1995, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. We are heart broken that Curtis has left us, but he will be joining his father, Arnold E. Mrs. Nixon was born August 14, 1927, in Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Joseph Howard Tomlin and Nettie Spence Tomlin. She was a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church and an active member of the ECW. She was also a member of the Rockbridge County Women's Club. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Samuel Franklin Nixon Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela N. and Paul Coleman, Waynesboro; two sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel Franklin and Roberta Nixon Jr., St. Petersburg, Fla., John R. and Susan Nixon, Fairfax; two sisters, Shirley H.
