FESTIVAL SEEKS ART SHOW ENTRIES

The 47th annual Virginia Highlands Festival is seeking entries for the Juried Art Show and Gallery .

Cash prizes will be awarded, including a $750 award for Best In Show.

The entry fee is $7.50 per work, with a maximum of two entries per applicant. Advance registration by mail is encouraged.

Artist and author Alex Powers will serve as juror for the show and gallery.

Entries will be accepted at the Arts Depot in Abingdon on July 22 and 23. The gallery will be open to the public from July 29-Aug. 13.
