I-81 CRASH KILLS DUBLIN MAN, 22

A Dublin man died Sunday when he flipped his truck on Interstate 81, near the Claytor Lake exit in Pulaski County.

Walter Avis Johnson, 22, was driving north on I-81 when he ran off the right side of the road, according to Trooper Ted Homiak.

Johnson's truck came back on the road and flipped several times, throwing him and his brother, William David Johnson, out of the truck.

Walter Johnson died at the scene. William Johnson was hospitalized. Information on his condition was not available. Neither of the brothers was wearing a seat belt.

The accident, which occurred about 4:45 a.m., was alcohol-related, Homiak said
