BUILDINGS' MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Greystone Realty Management Corp. of Greenwich, Conn., has taken over the management of two office buildings in Roanoke - the Franklin Plaza building on Franklin Road in downtown and the First Union Corp. operations center on Plantation Road near Hollins.

The buildings are among 10 properties, representing 1.4 million square feet, that were managed by Southwind Inc. of Columbia, S.C., the companies announced Monday.

Greystone said it would retain all of Southwind's on-site employees in Roanoke and Columbia and Spartanburg, S.C.

Greystone, an independently operated subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co., manages $1.3 billion worth of real estate and has regional offices in Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago.
