AROUND NEW RIVER

CHRISTIANSBURG - Kool Country WFNR (100.7 FM) and (710 AM) will broadcast the CBS baseball game of the week Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The game features the Seattle Mariners at Toronto Blue Jays.

Kool Country will broadcast several Atlanta Braves games during the next week. The Braves host the San Diego Padres Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Mondayand Tuesday, the Braves will be in Pittsburgh facing the Pirates at 8 p.m. and 3 p.m. July 26 and 27, Atlanta travels to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers. July 28, Atlanta faces the Giants at San Francisco.

Kool Country also will return the "Cuzin' Nelson" Show, Southern gospel every Sunday from 9 to 10 a.m. on WNRV (990 AM).

Throw a football win $15,000

CHRISTIANSBURG - You could win $15,000 at the Majic 105 (WVMJ) "Majic Box" Saturday, noon to 3 p.m. at the New River Valley Mall. Morning personality Dean Tyler will broadcast live and hand out gifts provided by the mall.

Just before 3 p.m., someone will throw a football through a target suspended from the Majic Box. If the throw is complete, the winner gets $15,000.
