MILL MOUNTAIN PLAY WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Mill Mountain Theatre has announced that two Virginia playwrights have been selected as the finalists in the annual play competition.

Tom Ziegler's ``Small Sacrifices'' and Doug Grissom's ``Ned's and Dan's History Emporium'' will be given script-in-hand productions in Theatre B in October.

The winner will be announced after the last performance, based on the productions and on audience input.

Ziegler's ``Grace and Glorie,'' performed in Theatre B last year, will have its off-Broadway opening this fall, as well as returning to Theatre B. Ziegler, a professor at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, has had other plays performed in New York.

Grissom is an associate professor of playwriting at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and has had works performed on various regional and universities stages.
