CHILDREN'S BOOK CONFERENCE AT HOLLINS SATURDAY

The event will showcase the creative writing and scholarship of graduate students from the college's children's literature program - the nation's only graduate-level program in the writing and study of children's literature.

Scheduled events include critical sessions on biblical children's literature, Maurice Sendak, young-adult literature, and the history and criticism of children's literature.

Original works of poetry and fiction for children will also be presented.
