Carrico will be introduced by Alex M. Harman Jr., a former state Supreme Court justice who lives in Pulaski County.
Alan D. Groseclose, chairman of the Courthouses Committee, will outline how the county's historic 100-year-old stone courthouse was restored after a fire at the end of 1989 and the neighboring brick courthouse expanded.
The brick courthouse will house circuit, general district, and juvenile and domestic relations courtrooms and offices, all of which have been in temporary quarters for the past two years while construction work was taking place. The old stone courthouse now contains county offices.
