CHRISTIANSBURG - Individuals who are interested in taking fall classes at New River Valley Community College don't have to leave the area. The college is offering several day and evening classes during fall semester at its Christiansburg site at Appalachian Hall on Roanoke Street.
The off-campus site will offer courses from 18 programs of study. Daytime classes include accounting, computer information systems, economics, English, geology, history, health, math, psychology, sociology and speech. Evening courses include art appreciation, history, math, legal administration, psychology, Spanish, office systems technology and accounting. Additional courses during both sessions also are available.
Fall classes start Aug. 21. Registration can be completed at Appalachian Hall or the Dublin campus. Students can reserve classes now and delay tuition payment until Aug. 7.
In addition, the Dublin campus offers a variety of evening classes for those who cannot attend daytime classes during the fall. Fall classes at the Dublin campus also start Aug. 21. Registration is already in progress.
