ROCKY MOUNT RIPS TRI-COUNTIES 9-0

Jeremy Atkins fired a two-hit shutout to lead Rocky Mount Post 6 past Tri-Counties 9-0 in the first round of the Blue Ridge District American Legion baseball tournament at Rocky Mount.

Rocky Mount Post 6 will face the winner of the Roanoke North-Martinsville game tonight at 7 p.m.

Gray Hodges, Chad Foutz and Larry Bowles each had two hits and scored three runs for Rocky Mount.
