YOUTH CHARGED IN RADFORD BURGLARY ATTEMPT

A 17-year-old youth was arrested early Tuesday when Radford police officers say they caught him trying to steal about $2,700 in merchandise from Scotty's Radio and TV in Radford.

The youth has been placed in the New River Valley Juvenile Detention Home, Radford police said Tuesday. No other information was available.
