LIBRARY SEEKS ART FOR AUCTION

Art work, art prints and collectibles are being sought by the Montgomery County Friends of the Library. These items, along with circulating framed art prints from county libraries, will be used for a silent auction at the Blacksburg and Christiansburg branches.

The items will be displayed for bidding from Monday to Sept. 7 during library hours. Bidding will close Sept. 7 at 8:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the art sale will go toward furnishings for the Blacksburg library and computer desks for the Christiansburg library.
