Gulf War syndrome database set up
WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has established a computer database with newly declassified documents to help Persian Gulf War veterans research their physical ailments, officials have announced.
Dubbed ``GULFLINK,'' and available on the Internet's World Wide Web network, the database contains thousands of documents that relate to the 1991 conflict. The idea is to provide a research source for veterans concerned about diseases or ailments they believe may be linked to their service.
World Wide Web users can reach GULFLINK at http://www.dtic.dla.mil/gulflink.
