ANGLE, Kimberly Ann, 23, of 9490 Blackdog Alley, Easton, Md., went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 4, 1995 at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. She was born in Roanoke, October 24, 1971 and was a daughter of Harold and Carolyn Warden Patton, Roanoke. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God, Easton, Md. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Angle of Easton, Md.; two sons, Joseph Lee Angle and Alan Michael Angle, both at home; a brother, Harold David Patton, Jr., of Roanoke; maternal grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Lloyd Warden of Low Moor, and the late Eli Patton; paternal grandmother Eunice Layson, Roanoke. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m.,Tuesday, from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with the Rev. Andy Nash officiating. I nterment will follow in the Central Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Route 1, Clifton Forge. Active pallbearers include David Patton, Charlie Hausley, Homer Warden, Frankie Warden, Jason Stanley, William Richardson, and Billy Richardson. BRYANT, David Lee, 63, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, August 6, 1995. He was the owner of Hilltop Restaurant, Roanoke and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Lovelle K. Bryant; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon B. and Gordon G. Ward, Salem; sons and daughter-in-law, David Michael Bryant, Salem, Greg and Gloria Bryant, Salem; mother and stepfather, Frankie and Fred Beardmore, Roanoke; granddaughter, Adrian Bryant; grandson, Shane Bryant; brothers, Ben D. Bryant, Salem, Earl Bryant, North Carolina, Ronnie N. Bryant, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Lucy O. Kingery, Roanoke; and nieces and nephews. GILLS, Ruby Elizabeth Franklin, 91, of Route 3, Bedford, died Saturday, August 5, 1995, in a local nursing home. She was born April 23, 1904 in Bedford County a daughter of the late John C. Franklin and Oscie Maupin Franklin. She was a member of Mount Olivet Southern Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Frazier and Hubert Gills, her son, Billy Frazie, her twin sister Ruth F. Coffman, and three brothers Roy Franklin, Russell Franklin and Jack Franklin. She is survived by three sisters, Irene F. Holdren of Roanoke, Frances Horne McGhee of Bedford, and Virginia F. Sampson of Fairfield Glades, Tenn.; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 1995, at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe R. Prince Sr. officiating. HANNABASS, Helen Isabelle Prather Nimmo, 72, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Saturday evening, August 5, 1995. She was a member of Ninevah Union Church, Hardy, and a retiree from Kenrose Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Sam and Ida Prather, and a brother, Isaac Prather. Surviving are a sister, Sallie Prather Brown, Vinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred R. and Vera W. Prather, Roanoke; and many nephews and nieces. KENNINGTON, Brian Keith (""Smiley""), 9, of Hardy, died Sunday, August 6, 1995 at Duke University, N.C. He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Donna Kennington; one brother, Gregory Terry Kennington, of the home; paternal grandparents, James and Sylvia Kennington, of Henry; and maternal grandparents, Wanda Arvin and the late Jack Arvin, Beattyville, Ky. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Beattyville, Ky. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
KEYS, Glenn Snavely, 80, of Riverview, Fla., died Friday, July 28, 1995. Born October 18, 1914, in Stonega, Va., he was the son of the late Judge Ewing and Margaret Snavely Keys. He was raised in Appalachia, and begin his career with Eastern Associated Coal Company at several clerical positions in the Montgomery, W. Va. area. He married Estelle Lura Kessler of Montgomery, October 31, 1938. They moved to Kopperston, W.Va. in 1952 where he was payroll clerk, and later Mine Accountant for Eastern Coal. He was a member and elder of the Kopperston Presbyterian Church. in 1966, while continuing to live in Kopperston, he was the first employee of the Harris Mine in Boone County where he was in charge of setting up the records system and purchasing department. He transferred to Eastern's Stotesbury Mine in Raleigh County in 1974 as Mine Accounting and moved to Beckley, W.Va. He retired in 1978. He moved to Riverview, Fla. in 1984. He was very active in the communities and churches in each of the places where he lived. Mr. Keys was preceded in death by his first wife, Estelle Lura Kessler Keys, a daughter Brenda Lynn Keys Franciose, a sister Faye Keys Payne, and a grandson Kevin Keys. Survivors include his wife, Martha Keys of Riverview, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn Alan and Charlene Keys of Radford, Stacy Wayne and Ramona Keys of Princeton, W.Va.; two granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Franciose Osceola of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Shay Ann Franciose of Tampa, Fla.; two grandsons, Christopher Alan Keys and Kerry Alan Keys of Radford; a cousin, Mildred Farley Plymale of Oak Hill, W.Va.; a former son-in-law, Ronald Franciose and wife, Patty of Tampa, Fla. Public visitation was from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 1995, at B.C. Hooper Funeral Home in Montgomery, W.Va. The funeral followed immediately at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Harold Lewis Coe and George B. Kessler officiating. Burial was in Montgomery Memorial Park in London, W.Va. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.

MOIR, Dr. William Maryon, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 6, 1995, in a Roanoke Hospital. He was born in Roanoke July 7, 1905. He was a graduate of Roanoke College and the University of Virginia Medical School and had practiced medicine in Roanoke for almost 50 years. He served as a physician in the U.S. Navy and the Pacific from 1943 until 1945 in World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lewis (Tootsie) Moir, Roanoke; daughter, Sally Moir Walker, Chapel Hill, N.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Edwin L. Moir and Patricia M. Moir Atlanta, Ga.; two granddaughters and one great-grandson; three stepsons, William B. Draper, Robert R. Draper, John C. Draper, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Johns Episcopal Church 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Thomas P. O'Dell and the Rev. Frank Allen officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
