MOVIES AT LIBRARY

The Radford Public Library will show the following movies on Thursdays at 3 p.m. in August, starting today. Movies will run for about 40 minutes intended for children ages five and up.

Today - "Frog and Toad Together," "Alphabet Dragon," and "Mole and the Music."

Aug. 17 - "Paddington Marches On," "Curious George Rides a Bike," and "Morris the Midget Moose."

Aug. 24 - "A Pocket for Corduroy," "Alphabet of Dinosaurs," and "Cat Journey."

In addition, story time at the library has been discontinued for August. Story time will resume Tuesday, Sept. 12, at its regular schedule, which is Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Story time is for pre-schoolers, ages 3-5.

Children who participated in the summer reading program can still pick up their certificates and books.
