Green Ridge Baptist Church will begin a support group on Sept. 17 to help adults deal with problems from their dysfunctional childhoods.
The 13-week support group is for the entire community and will work through a study titled "Making Peace With Your Past."
Dr. Doug Keffer of New Beginnings Counseling Services will lead the group. The fee is $12 per person ,and the group will meet at the church, 5521 Green Ridge Road N.W., on Sundays at 5 p.m.

SHARE offers food packages for $14
SHARE, a nonprofit food distribution and community service program active in Southwest Virginia, is offering food packages valued at $30 for $14 in cash or food stamps.
Participants must agree to volunteer two hours a month with the program.
