ARC THANKS GOLFERS FOR THEIR SUPPORT

On behalf of, and as president of the board of directors of ARC Roanoke Inc., a charitable nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the lives of mentally retarded citizens, I would like to express my sincerest thanks to The Roanoke Times and the Roanoke Valley for the overwhelming support of the Ground Round/Arc Roanoke 18 Hole Golf Classic.

The support of more than 50 corporate and individual sponsors, not to mention the nearly 160 golfers who participated in the tournament, will enable ARC to continue to provide employment opportunities and training, and transportation services, for mentally retarded citizens at its work center, and to continue its advocacy efforts on their behalf.

We look forward to another successful tournament next year.
