AMY MARIE WOODS and ANNE HEE CHO were named to the spring 1995 dean's list at Sweet Briar College.

Woods is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Woods of Salem, and Cho is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kyoung Syoung Cho of Roanoke.

BRIAN KEITH MORGAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Morgan of Roanoke has been named to the dean's list at Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.

PAUL J. JOHNSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh E. Johnson of Vinton, has been named to the spring semester dean's list at Messiah College.

Johnson is a 1992 graduate of Roanoke Valley Christian School.

THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS has announced the recipients of its Albert Canfield Memorial College Scholarship. Each recipient will receive $500 toward admission to the college of his or her choice.

They are: Brian A. Lazzuri, son of Michael and Glada Lazzuri, Mary Washington College; Valerie Marie Glynn, daughter of Curtis and Helen Glynn, Saint Francis College; Thomas F. PHILLIP JOSEPH TAVOLACCI of Blue Ridge, graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College with a bachelor of science degree in fitness and cardiac rehab/exercise science.

ROBERT WILLIAM ALDERSON of Roanoke received an associate of science degree in piano technology from Shenandoah University.

LONGWOOD COLLEGE has named the following Roanoke-area students to its dean's list for the spring semester: Meredith Leigh Brewer, Shenan Michele Burton, Cameron Cornell Caffee II, Amy Rebecca Pratt, Kristin Ann Saunders, Keith Edward Spencer and Julie Lynn Wood, all of Roanoke.

CARSON-NEWMAN COLLEGE in Tennessee, has named the following Roanoke-area students to its dean's list: Molly E. Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Davis; Renee F. Doty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Doty; Rebecca C. Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Moore; and Kristen L. Rossbacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rossbacher.

REBECCA ELLEN MOORE, daughter of Thomas and Ann Moore of Roanoke, has been named a recipient of the Norman S. and Frances S. Aycock Scholarship Trust at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C.

Moore has been accepted to the Campbell University School of Pharmacy for the fall of 1995.

JENNIFER DAUM, daughter of Conrad and Bev Daum of Roanoke, has received a summer intern grant of $1,600 for 1995 from the Virginia Association of Broadcasting. Daum is an intern with WSLS Channel 10 in the news department.

SUSAN DAVIS and ANGELA JEFFERSON, have been named to the dean's list at Lynchburg College.

Davis is the daughter of Ralph and Harriett Davis of Vinton and a 1993 graduate of Staunton River High School.

Jefferson is the daughter of Roger and Linda Jefferson of Roanoke and a 1993 graduate of Cave Spring High School.

SUZANNE HATFIELD, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hatfield of Roanoke, has been named to the dean's list at Milligan College in Tennessee for the spring 1995 semester. Hatfield is a 1993 graduate of Northside High School.

AMY L. STARR, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John W. Starr of Roanoke, has been named a College Scholar at Middlebury College.

The award is given to students with grade point average of 3.5 or better with no grade lower than a "B-" for the semester.

MICHAEL WAYNE JEFFREYS of Salem, is the 1995 Roanoke area recipient of USAir's Leslie 0. Barnes Scholarship.

Michael, a 1995 graduate of Salem High School, will attend the University of Virginia in the fall. His father, Gary Jeffreys, is a USAir customer service agent in Roanoke.

Scholarships go to five outstanding high school seniors who are the children of USAir employees. More than 200 students applied for the $1,000 scholarships, named for former Allegheny Airlines Chairman of the Board Leslie 0. Barnes.

KIRK ROYSTER, son of Dr. and Mrs. R. Lewis Royster Jr., was elected by the faculty and students of the Blue Ridge School to be on the Prefect Board and to serve on the Honor Council for the 1995-96 school year.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY has named several Roanoke-area students to its spring semester dean's list, they are: Mark Alan Greer and Jason Brent Sandy, both of Salem; Kevin Patrick Selfe and George Brent Shorter, both of Roanoke.

RADFORD UNIVERSITY has named several Roanoke-area students to its spring semester dean's list.
