ZOO VISITS TO COST MORE ON SEPT. 1

Mill Mountain Zoo officials have announced that ticket prices will increase.

Lions' lunches, monkey main courses and other costs are is taking too big of a bite out of the zoo's operating budget, officials said in announcing the Sept. 1 increase.

Admission rates will be $4 for adults; $3.60 for seniors (60 plus); and $2.75 for children under 12. There is no charge for children under 2

The zoo is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (540) 343-3241.
