TWO MEN ROB ROANOKE BODY SHOP EMPLOYEE

An employee of a Northwest Roanoke body shop was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday, police said. No one was injured.

Police gave this account: An employee of Beech Street Auto Body Repair at 423 Beech St. was approached by two men shortly after midnight. One of the men cocked a gun and demanded money from the employee. The employee gave cash from his wallet to one of the men.

The two robbers fled west toward Rolling Hill Avenue.
