Driving ranges
Big Lick Golf Driving Range & Learning Center: One-year-old facility owned and operated by longtime Roanoke professional Wayne Holley. Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Includes two massive tee boxes - one covered by rye and blue grass and other by Vermont-Bermuda grass. Nine artificial-surface tee stations and huge putting green. Sand bunker will be available soon. Buckets $3 (30 balls), $6 (60) and $9 (90). Fifty-ball bucket of balls to hit off mat only is $4. All balls are new. Pro shop includes deli.
