Altice-Martin

Traci Michelle Martin and Joseph Anthony Altice were married August 12, 1995, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Zane Altice. The officiating clergyman was John Crawford.

The matron of honor was Kimberley Leedy, sister of the bride. The best man was Zane Altice, father of the groom. The flowergirls were Lindsey Altice, Sarah Combiths, and Jamie Grace, nieces of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Bernard Martin, and the late Bonnie Varney. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Roanoke College. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Zane Altice. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Roanoke College.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to Cancun.

\ Bialowas-Reed

Kristi Suzanne Reed and Frank Mark Bialowas were married June 24, 1995 in Holy Ghost Parish. The officiating clergyman was Father Jan Wadolowski. The reception was held at Holy Ghost Parish Hall. The maid of honor was Kimberley Stewart, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Tabitha Hawley, best friend, Teri Reed, cousin of the bride, and Alice Los, aunt of the groom. The flowergirls were Julia Charnecki and Hana Los, cousins of the groom. The best man was Steve Gambrel, best friend. The ushers were Mike Haddad, friend, Christopher Bialowas, brother of the groom, and Mike James, friend. Ringbearer was Devan Stewart, nephew of the bride. The bride wore a silk strapless gown with bolero jacket. She carried a bouquet of lilies and coral roses.

The bride is a daughter of Milton Reed & Susie Reed, both of Christiansburg. She is a graduate of Auburn High School and Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. The bridegroom, son of Jim & Mary Bialowas of Winnipeg, is a graduate of West Kildonan and is employed by Toronta Maple Leafs. The newlyweds honeymooned in the Enchanted Gardens Jamaica.

\ Brewer-Steele

Catherine Dawn Steele and Brent William Brewer were married on June 24, 1995 at Memorial Baptist Church in Bluefield, Va. Pastor Hugh Cole officiated.

Dawn is the daughter of Rex and Deloris Steele of Virginia Beach. Brent is the son of David and Judy Brewer of Roanoke.

The maid of honor was Tammy Steele, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Donna Fuqua, Christie Schuller, and Elise Bell, friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Natalie Lampert, cousin of the bride.

The best man was David Brewer. Groomsmen were Brad Brewer, brother of the groom; Blair Louvern and John Briggs, friends of the groom. The junior groomsman was Aaron Butt, cousin of the bride.

Solos were given by Deloris Steele and Larry Brewer, uncle of the groom. Scripture was read by Jonathan Butt, cousin of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Sue Brewer, aunt of the groom, and programs were given by Meghan and Karis Lyons.

The bride wore the wedding gown of Kathy Lampert, her aunt and director of the wedding. Her veil was handmade by a close friend, Julie Hallberg.

Dawn is a 1994 graduate of Bluefield College and is employed by Roanoke City Schools.

Brent is also a 1994 graduate of Bluefield College with a degree in Secondary Social Studies Education.

The couple now resides in Roanoke.

\ Brooks-Stout

Kristin Carol Stout and Richard Leonard Brooks were married on August 12, 1995 in North Roanoke Baptist Church. Rev. Daryl Crim was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held at the Church Fellowship Hall.

Tiersa Lister, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Nicole Milko and Melissa Mays, friends of the bride; and Paula Cabrera, sister of the groom. Whitney Cabrera, niece of the groom, was the flowergirl. James Brooks, brother of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were Arlie Brooks, brother of the groom; Ronald Belcher, Jr., friend of the groom; and Jeff Clinevell, cousin of the groom. Cody Lister, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer. Rhonda Smith was the guestbook attendant.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Stout of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School and Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Allstate Insurance. The groom is a son of Mr. Richard Brooks of Alexandria and Ms. Myrtie Alls of Salem. He will graduate from Virginia Tech in the Fall, where he is majoring in Forest Products.

Following the wedding trip to Walt Disney World, the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke.

\ Brown-Blankenship

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blankenship announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathleen Dawn Blankenship, to Peter Douglas Brown, son of Rev. and Mrs. Paul Brown of Woodbridge, Va. The couple was united in marriage at Calvary Memorial Church in Roanoke on August 12, 1995. The officiating minister was the Rev. Paul Brown, father of the groom.

Those attending the bride were Pamela Raider, maid of honor; and Melissa White, matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Joanne Crosby, Laura Brown, sister of the groom; Alice Lawrence, sister of the bride; Cindy Smith, sister of the bride; Jennifer Yates, and Cynthia Logsdon, sister of the groom. The junior bridesmaids were Kristin Lawrence and Ashton Smith. The flower girl was Kelsey Smith. Patty Steele and Sherry Wampler were the greeters. Karen Yates was the wedding coordinator.

Those attending the groom were best men, Stephen Bown, brother of the groom; and Scott Logsdon. The groomsmen were William Steele, brother of the bride; Greg Thompson, Mark Newell, Clay Bergstrom, Nelson Gault, and Steve Foster. The ringbearer was Ethan Spruill.

Peter Brown is a graduate from V.P.I. and presently employed by Hayes, Seay, Matten & Mattern. Katie Brown attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Ky.

The couple will reside in Roanoke.

\ Burks-Folden

Michelle Folden and Joey Burks were united in marriage August 5, 1995. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Bruce Burks at Community Advent Christian Church in Roanoke.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Norma Altice of Cloverdale and the late J. Rick Folden. She is the granddaughter of Glen & Ruby Gibson of Cloverdale and Boyd and Dorothy Folden of Vinton. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is a senior at Radford University.

The groom is the son of Jerry & Dee Burks of Fincastle. He is the grandson of Edith and Lee Hutchinson of West Virginia and Roy & Pearl Burks of Clifton Forge. He attended Radford University and is employed by Emery Worldwide.

The bride was escorted by her step-father, Bob Altice.

The maid of honor was Emily Gibson, cousin of the bride. The matron of honor was Kimberly Jones, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michele Cave, friend of the bride and Danielle Eubank, cousin of the bride.

Best man was friend of the groom, Billy Thomas. Groomsmen were Jerry Burks, father of the groom, Chuck Southers, friend of the groom & cousin of the bride, and James Harper, brother of the groom.

Shane Jones, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The prelude music was provided by pianist, Deb Ayers, of Cloverdale. The soloists were Gene Ayers of Troutville and Buck Burks of Clifton Forge.

Stephanie Cash, friend of the bride and groom, attended the guest book and also presented a special reading. Rev. T. G. Ayers said a special prayer for the bride & groom.

A reception followed at the church and was catered by Roger & Sue Huffman. The wedding cake was made by Marsha Kinsey Baker. Sharon Myers was the weddi ng director and floral designer. Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church was the setting for the marriage of Mary Margaret Barnard of Roanoke and John Christopher Clemens of Salem, Saturday, August 12, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Tupper Garden officiated at the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. David Osborne, uncle of the bride. Following the ceremony a reception was held at Roanoke Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Virginia Barnard Lester and the late Dr. Barnard, and a granddaughter of Mrs. Theodore Osborne of Salem and Mrs. Lorene Barnard of Grundy.

The groom is the son of the Honorable and Mrs. Gerald O'Neal Clemens of Salem, and the grandson of Mrs. Lena Lugar of Radford and Mrs. Jack Clemens of Blacksburg.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her brothers, Dr. John Barnard and Mr. Kevin Barnard.

Matron of honor was Brooke Barnard Markwalter, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Anna Katherine Hash, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cynthia Clemens, Heather Barnard, Katie Osborne, Marcy McClanahan, Zipporah Basile, Lucy Carling, Nicole Basile, Amber Nolen, and Whitney Carter.

Honorary bridesmaids were Annie Martin, Patricia Astruc, Beth Appleman, Lynn Irwin, Leigh Walton, Carla Farrell.

The Honorable G.O. Clemens, father of the groom, and Dr. Charles Thomas Clemens, brother of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen were John Barnard, Kevin Barnard, Patrick Markwalter, John Hash, Peter Osborne, Joe Thomas, Scott Gardner, Jake Allison, and Danny Broom.

The guestbook was attended by Catherine Clemens and Meredith Jarratt. Greeters were Paige Lester and Kimberlee Chunat.

The bride is a graduate of North Cross School and the University of Virginia,

The groom attended Virginia Tech and graduated from Roanoke College and T. C. Williams School of Law.

After a wedding trip to Curacao, the couple will make their home in the Roanoke Valley.

Cobbler-Moncrief

Melissa Lynn Moncrief and Kenneth Wayne Cobbler were married on May 28, 1995 in the United Methodist Church on Jekyll Island, Georgia. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Ballroom at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.

The bride wore a silk satin ball gown with a sweep train. The portrait neckline, sleeves, and basque waist were accented with a trim of clustered pearls. Her three tiered cathedral veil was adorned with pearls. She carried a cascading bouquet of jewel toned spring flowers.

The matron of honor was Minta Getzen, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Beverly Cobbler, sister of the groom, Susan King, and Nancy Funes. The flowergirl was Megan Perkins.

The best man was Wayne Cobbler, father of the groom. Ushers were Chris Bond, Doug Winter, and Ron Willard. Matthew Harmon was ringbearer.

A reading was given by Tara Rigatti. Attending the guest book were Katie King and Emily Perkins.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Moncrief Jr. of Strongsville, Oh. She is a graduate of The International School of Geneva, Switzerland and Virginia Tech. She is attending the University of South Carolina pursuing a master's degree.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Wayne Cobbler of Rocky Mount, Va. He is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Virginia Tech. The groom is employed by MW Windows.

After a wedding trip to Barbados, the newlyweds reside in Easley, S.C.

Marisa J. Scarberry and Jeffrey E. Dalton were married Saturday, August 12, 1995 at Pleasant Hill Church, Willis, Virginia with the Reverend Junior Bentley officiating. A reception was held at the Willis Fire Dept. following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Scarberry of Willis, Virginia. She is a graduate of Wytheville Community College and is employed by Montgomery Regional Ho spital as a Registered Nurse.

The groom is the son of Wanda Dalton of Floyd and Arlie Dalton of Willis, Virginia. He is employed by the Floyd County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff.

The maid of honor was Sandy Sutphin, sister of the bride. Best man was Arlie Dalton, father of the groom. Brittany Scarberry, daughter of the bride, served as flower girl.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Willis, Va.

A reception was held at Cypress Cove Country Club. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Richmond.

Anne Lynn Corbett and David Edward Glenn were married August 12, 1995, in the chapel of the Centurion, Fort Monroe, Va., with the Rev. Rick Vinson officiating. The reception was held at Langley Officers' Club.

The maid of honor was Elizabeth Wells Corbett, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Graham, Lucy Park, Susan Thomas, and Alison Prothero, all friends of the bride.

The best man was Douglas James Glenn, brother of the groom. The ushers were Robert LeFever, Neville Hedley, Russell Blake, all friends of the groom; and Murray McNiel, friend of the bride. Soloist was Joan Wickes, aunt of the groom. Music was provided by Bob LeFever of Roanoke, and videographer was Richard Stanfield of Roanoke. The wedding coordinator was Tiffany Glenn, sister-in-law.

The bride carried a bouquet of Lady Di roses and irises in a cascade of ivy.

The bride is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. John Wells Corbett of Fort Monroe, Va. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and attends the University of Maryland Graduate School.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Glenn of Troutville. He graduated from Wake Forest University and is employed by Walt Klein and Associates.

The newlyweds will live in Hyattsville, Md., after their wedding trip to St. Croix.

Dawn Elizabeth Grant and James Markem Gonzales were married June 25, 1995, at the waterfalls at Waimea Falls Park, Hawaii. The Rev. Ron Valenciano officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Jay and Rae Ann Tye, friends of the bridal couple, served as best man and matron of honor. Music was provided by Shiloh Orion, slack key guitarist. The bride was escorted by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Mr . and Mrs. Elton C. Grant, Jr. of Rocky Mount, Va. She is a graduate of Franklin County High School and is employed by Waimea Falls Park.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Gonzales of Chela Vista, Calif. He is a graduate of Southwestern College and is in the U.S. Army.

After a wedding trip to Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii, the newlyweds are currently making their home in Waialua, Hawaii.

Tina Leigh Horn and Robert Craig Hannah were married on August 12, 1995 at New Castle Christian Church in Craig County. Officiating were Rev. Emory Tarpley and Dr. Ernie Johnson.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Billy Horn and family. The maid of honor was Holly Fields, and matron of honor was Tory Frango, both friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chasity Labiosa and Danielle Huffman, cousins of the bride; Kelly Hannah and Faith Taylor, both sisters of the groom; Malinda Oliver, sister of the bride; and Kimberley Winstead, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Olivia Laprad, friend of the bride and groom. Ringbearer was Timothy Lafon, nephew of the bride.

The best man was Robert E. Hannah, father of the groom; and honorary best man was Trent Lipes. Groomsmen were Randy Frango, Chris Todd, Billy Whiting, Sam Dillon, and Mark McPherson, all friends of the groom; and Sammy Huffman, cousin of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Horn and Ms. Rachel Howell. She is a graduate of Craig County High School and Bridgewater College. She is employed by Lewis-Gale Clinic. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eugene Hannah. He is a graduate of Craig County High School, attended Concord College, and is employed by Coca Cola Bottling Co.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William ``Buck'' Gibson, Mrs. Jean Ridgeway, Ms. Mandy Lamb, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Fuller. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Blankenship, and Mrs. Cleo Hannah.

Music was provided by Mrs. Jeannie Gutherie, organist; Mrs. Rosemary Stamper, pianist; and JoAnna Scott, soloist. Other attendants included Debbie King, Liturgist; Lindsay Huffman and Wayne Taylor, guestbook attendants; Tammy Harden and Mary Ann Beard, program attendants. The wedding was directed by Mrs. Reese Wood of New Castle, Va.

A lawn reception followed the ceremony at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hannah. After a honeymoon cruise in the Bahamas, the couple will reside in New Castle, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Robert Lancaster of Salem. She is a graduate of Virginia Western Community College and is employed by the City of Salem. The groom is the son of Jane and Raymond Franklin Hough, Jr. of Salem. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and is employed by Musselman and Associates of Roanoke.

Donna Graham, the bride's sister, was matron of honor. Leigh Ann Lancaster, sister of the bride, and Cathy Robbins, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. The flowergirl was Kaitlyn Graham, the bride's niece. John Rutherford, friend of the groom's family, was best man. R. Franklin Hough, III and Jay Hough, brothers of the groom, served as ushers. Paul Toler, son of Abbe and Wayne Toler, was the ringbearer. The server was Morgen Gentry, the groom's niece. Mrs. Pat Bruce was the wedding director, and the soloist was Marianne Francis.

The reception was held at the home of Amelia and Bruce Gentry, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. Following a honeymoon in the south of Spain, the couple resides in Roanoke. Thank you to our families and friends for being a part of our special day!

The bridegroom, son of James & Louise Hunley of Roanoke, is a graduate of William Byrd High School-'91 and is currently attending Radford University. The newlyweds will live in Radford after the wedding trip to Disney World, Florida.

Vicki Myers and David Kirk were married August 12, 1995 at Hollins Road Baptist Church by Rev. Doyle. A reception at Vinton Moose followed the ceremony.

Christy St. John, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kara Kirk, daughter of the groom, and Vickie Bradley, friend. The best man was Aaron Kirk, brother of the groom. Ushers were Coby Kirk and Travis Kirk, sons of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Kristen Kirk, niece.

The bride wore a candlelight satin and lace gown adorned with sequins and pearls. Fitted lace botice flows into a chapel length train.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The maid of honor was Kristi Gross, friend.

The best men were Billy Smith and John Keffer, friends. The ushers were Steven Lakes, brother of the groom; and Lee Draper, brother of the bride. The candlelighters were Steven Lakes and Lee Draper. The guestbook was attended by Amy Bergendahl.

The bride's gown was satin with pearls and clear crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses with purple flowers, crystal pearls and ivy.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Draper of Roanoke County. She is a graduated of William Byrd High School and is employed as a clerk in a local store.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Edwin Lakes of Fincastle. He attended National Business College and is a clerk in a local store.

The newlyweds are living in Eagle Rock, Va., after honeymooning at Hotel Roanoke.

Layman-Rogers

Carrie April Rogers and Douglas Vernon Layman were married July 29, 1995 at Huntington Court United Methodist Church in Roanoke. The officiating clergyman was Reverend Alton Washington.

The maid of honor was Sarah Wilkerson, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Amy Lineweaver, friend of the bride, Amanda Bowman, sister of the bride, Lisa Layman, sister of the groom, and Lauren Hutton, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Jennifer Thurman, sister of the bride.

The best man was David Layman, father of the groom. The ushers were Mike Massey, Steve Farmerie, Mark Elkins, and Andy Shotwell, all friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Ben Thurman, cousin of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Felix Verto.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Thurman Jr. of Roanoke. She is a 1991 graduate of Northside High School and will graduate in December 1995 from Radford University with a degree in Elementary Education.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Layman of Buchanan. He is a graduate of James River High School and Radford University, and is employed by United Parcel Service.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke.

\ Martin-Cumbee

Jennifer G. Cumbee and Michael Martin, Jr. were married on August 12, 1995 at North Fork Baptist Church. The Rev. Fred Brugger was the officiating clergyman. The bride is a daughter of Gilbert and Fran Cumbee of Blacksburg, Va. The groom is the son of Mike and Patty Martin of Christiansburg, Va. The newlyweds will reside in Blacksburg.

\ McCoy-Berhaupt

Michaelynn Marie Berhaupt and Richard Anthony McCoy were married May 27, 1995 in First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Robert Smith officiating. The receptions were held at First Presbyterian Fellowship Hall and Hotel Roanoke Crystal Ballroom.

The maid of honor was Nina Berhaupt of Schenectady, N.Y., sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Mary Jo Polfleit of Altamont, N.Y., friend of the bride; Nicole Berhaupt of Schenectady, N.Y., sister of the bride; Julie Kolb of Roanoke, friend of the bride; and Susan Brown of Salem, friend of the bride. Flowergirls were Elisa Berhaupt and Caitlyn Berhaupt, sister and niece of the bride, both of Schenectady, N.Y.

The best man was Leonard Notto of Dallas, Texas, friend of the groom. The ushers were Barra O'Fathaigh of Roanoke, friend of the groom; Dr. Richard Cardosi of Tampa, Fla., friend of the groom; Michael Brocato of Memphis, Tenn., friend of the groom; Scott Kelley of Memphis, Tenn., friend of the groom; Trace Owen of Savannah, Tenn., brother-in-law of the groom; and Christopher Berhaupt of Schenectady, N.Y., brother of the bride. Ringbearer was Tanner Owen, nephew of the groom. The candlelighters were the parents of the bride and groom. The guestbook was attended by Valerie Owen, sister of the groom, and Kelli Martin, friend of the bride.

The bride is a daughter of Michael and Marion Berhaupt of Schenectady, N.Y. She is a graduate of Mohonaseu High School in Schenectady, N.Y. and Renssselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., with a BSEE. She is employed by GE in Salem .

The groom is the son of Alvin and Barbara McCoy of Savannah, Tenn. He is a graduate of Hardin County High School, Savannah, Tenn., and Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn, with a BSEE. He is employed by GE i n Salem.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, after their wedding trip to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.

\ Morrison-King

Michelle Dawn King and William Kenneth Morrison were united in marriage on July 29, 1995, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Doyle officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William King of Roanoke. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Mullins of Salem. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Ray Morrison and Debbie Markwood of Roanoke.

The bridesmaids were Cindy Hall, Kathy King, sisters of the bride, Emily Pecoul, Michelle Sheppard, Margaret Gumpert, and Grace Davis, friends of the bride. The flowergirls were Margaux Hall, niece of the bride, and Kayleigh Morrison, cousin of the groom.

The best man was Robert Morrison, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Robert Bono, Jeffrey Bowman, Matthew Correll, Jeffrey Lundy, and Charles Richards, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Justin Stover, cousin of the bride.

Program attendants were John Lloyd, cousin of the bride, and Shawn Clevinger, friend of the bride and groom. Guestbook attendant was Ellana Clevinger, friend of the bride and groom. The organist was Mrs. Jeanette Body, grandmother of the groom. Mr. Tim West was soloist, and scripture reading was by Kimerly Kays.

The bride wore a white satin gown by Ginza from Formal Occasion. The sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice was covered in schiffli lace with pearls and clear crystals. The heart cut out back featured hanging pearls and crystals in center. The extended chapel train featured lace cut outs and schiffli lace hemline. She carried a fresh bouquet of cascading white roses and stephanotis.

The brides parents hosted the reception in the atrium at First Baptist.

After a wedding trip to Florida, they will reside in Roanoke.

Melissa Ann Barber and Gregory Lee Pugh were married June 10, 1995 in Christ Church in Westerly, RI. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Robert W. Anthony. The reception was held at the Elks Club in Westerly, RI.

T he matron of honor was Renee Sieczkiewicz. The bridesmaids were Amy Sebest, Michelle Tisdale, and Lynley Shires, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Mary Sieczkiewicz.

The best man was Brian Snider. The ushers were Brian Collins, Kevin Ringley, and Todd Sower. Ringbearer was Codi Caswell.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert W. Barber of Westerly, RI. She is a 1989 graduate of Westerly High School and a 1991 graduate of Bay Path College in Longmeadow, MA. She is employed by Business Management Services.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy W. Pugh of Roanoke, is a 1987 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and a 1992 graduate of Virginia Tech. He is employed by Toys ``R'' Us in Greensboro, N.C.

The newlyweds will live in Collinsville after the wedding trip to Disney World.

\ Roberts-Palmieri

Mary Leigh Palmieri and Eric Lee Roberts were married August 12, 1995 at Shenandoah Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Alderman officiating. Reception was at the Sheraton. Matron of honor was Claire Baker, bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Debbie Certo, bride's cousin; Amanda Burks, Stephanie Klock, Robin Woolwine, and April Young, bride's friends. Junior bridesmaid was Carrie Baker. Flowergirls were Elizabeth Baker and Ashley Palmieri, bride's nieces. Best man was Harold Roberts, groom's father. Groomsmen were Donnie Roberts, groom's uncle; Leon Saunders, groom's cousin; Eric Thomas, Neil Ward, and Cameron Zeigler, groom's friends. Ringbearer was Nicholas Palmieri III, bride's nephew.
