BISHOP, Eddie Ray, 28, of Radford, passed away Saturday, August 12, 1995 at Pulaski Community Hospital. Survivors include his mother, Edith B. BRECKINRIDGE, Tommy Gilmer, 34, of Farmville, died Sunday, August 13, 1995. He was the husband of Amy Clark Breckinridge. Other survivors include two daughters, Kaitlin and Sarah; two sons, Andrew and Matthew, all of the home; his parents, Charles and Helen Breckinridge, Farmville; his grandmother, Mrs. Clyde J. CLARK, Louis Ellsworth, 86, of the Elks National Home, Bedford, died Monday, August 14, 1995 at the home. He was born in Wash ington D.C. on September 18, 1908, a son of the late William E. Clark and Rachel Dyer Clark. He was a former resident of Annapolis, Md., having been a resident of the Elks Home since 1982. He was a retired mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service, a member of Eastport United Methodist Church, Annapolis, a veteran of World War II, and was a Mason. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Ann Clark of Wooster, Ohio; a stepson, Norvel F. Cooper of Annapolis; two brothers, Clarence E. Clark and Richard C. Clark; and a sister, Thurley C. Margeson, all of Florida; also eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 17, 1995 at 10:30 a.m. at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be Friday at 12 noon in Hillcrest Cemetery, Annapolis, Md. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Carder-Tharp Funeral Home.

COLLINS, Francis Marshall, of Roanoke, died Monday, August 14, 1995 at Lewis Gale Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Harry Collins and Hattie Frances Martin Collins. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Ann Leech; brother, Wayne McGill Collins, Noblesville, Ind.; and many other relatives and friends. DUNN, Christopher James, 20, of Blue Ridge, died Saturday, August 12, 1995 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, N.C. He was a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School. He is survived by his sister, Angela Dunn; brother, Steven Dunn; mother and father, William J. and Betty J. Dunn; and other relatives and friends. EATON, Melissa Stafford, 89, of Pearisburg, died Monday, August 14, 1995. Mrs. Eaton was born on November 18, 1905 in Pearisburg, Va., and was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Effie Thompson Stafford and was also preceded in death by her husband Dan Eaton. Mrs. Eaton taught in the Giles County School Systems, was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, the Paris Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Honorary member of the Pearisburg Womens Club and the A.A.R.P. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donald and Frankie Wilson, Pearisburg; one brother, John Frank Stafford, Narrows; three grandchildren, Melissa Obenhaus, Danny and Steve Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Josh and Wil Obenhaus. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 16, 1995 at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg at 11 a.m. with the Rev. She was born in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Robert F. and Cora Porter Lowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sennett W. ``Bim'' Gore; and a brother, Robert Elvis Lowe. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald E. and Francine Gore of North Branch, N.J., Gary A. and Karen Gore of Radford; seven grandchildren, Robert A. Gore, Michael D. HYLTON, Essie Lee Moore, 89, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 13, 1995, at Richfield Nursing Center, Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Hylton. She was a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church and a mother who was loving & deeply loved. McFADDEN, Leonard, 82, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, August 13, 1995 at his home. He was born on August 2, 1913 in Wigan, England, and lived in Timmins, Ontario during his teen years. He received his Ph.D. from Brown University and his B.S. from Queens University, Ontario. He retired in 1978 from Virginia Tech, where he was a Professor of Mathematics for 37 years. His survivors include his wife of 51 years, Margaret Morgan McFadden; daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Mikkel Johnson, Los Alamos, N.M.; daughter, Barbara Ann McFadden, Beckley, W. PAUPE, Joy Ann Jackson, 62, of Pearisburg, died Sunday evening, August 13, 1995 in Salem, Va. Mrs. Paupe was born on August 21, 1932 in Cumberland, Md. and was a daughter of the late Lonnie I. and Hazel Walker Jackson, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Paupe. Mrs. Paupe was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, the New Friendship Circle at the Methodist Church, the Pearisburg Woman's Club and was a Volunteer at the Macy McClaugherty School in Pearisburg. SURBER, Carl, 79, of Saltville, died Sunday, August 13, 1995 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Mr. Surber was a lifelong resident of Saltville, Va. and a retiree of the Olin Chemical and the Smyth County Vocational School. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ella Louise Surber. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Peggy) Gillen and Mrs. P. H. (Fonnie) Griffitts, both of Saltville; one brother, Mr. James E. VAUGHT, Donald Ray, 57, of Vinton, born June 6, 1938, died Sunday, August 13, 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Johnson and Elizabeth Spradlin Vaught; his father-in-law, G. Hensley Neal; brother, William Boyd Vaught Sr.; his grandparents, Pearl Wallace and Macey Adkins Vaught, Daniel James and Susan Kessler Spradlin. He is survived by two children, Donna Rae and Daniel Howard Vaught, both of Baltimore; mother-in-law, Irene Neal; brother and sister-in-law, James Howard and Elsie Clarkson Vaught; nephews, Steven Wayne Vaught, William Boyd Vaught Jr., Sidney Lee Vaught, all of Roanoke and Bradley Domke, San Antonio, Texas; life long friends, Howard and Shirley Light, Roanoke. Don was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Roanoke, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1960. He was an officer in the U. S. Army and retired in 1993 as Vice President of the Shenandoah Life Insurance Company. He was a certified Life Underwriter. Don was an active member of Vinton Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher and on other committees. He was previously a member of the Windsor Hills and the First Baptist Churches of Roanoke. He played football in the Roanoke Sandlot Leagues, at Jefferson High School and V.P.I./S.U. as well as softball in the local softball leagues.

VAUGHT, Patricia Ann Neal, 55, of Vinton, born May 5,1940 and died Sunday, August 13,1995. She was preceded in death by her father, G. Hensley Neal. She is survived by her children, Donna Rae and Daniel Howard, both of Baltimore; her moth er, Irene Elizabeth Neal, Vinton. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and received a Bachelors degree from Radford University, and a Masters Degree from The University of Virginia. She was employed by the Roanoke City School System having worked at Stonewall Jackson Middle School, William Ruffner Middle School and was presently Guidance Coordinator at Addison Aerospace School.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 1995 from the Vinton Baptist Church, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday The Rev. Dr. Bill Ross and the Rev. Nolan Teague will officiate with burial to follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Vinton Baptist Church. WHITT, Nancy K., 43, of Roanoke, formerly of Tazewell, Va., died Sunday, August 13, 1995 at her home. Born in Bluefield, W. Va., she was a daughter of Mary Brewster Whitt of North Tazewell, Va. and the late Cecil Herman Whitt. She was a 1971 graduate of Tazewell High School. In addition to her mother, survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth C. Whitt, Roanoke; one son, Richard Chance Whitt, Roanoke; four sisters, Judith A. Scruggs, North Tazewell; Mrs. Glen (Gail) Webb, Salem, Mrs. Todd (Connie) Harris and Mrs.. Robert (Vickie) Alford, both of Tazewell; two brothers, Cecil E. ``Pete"" Whitt and David H. ``Squeak"" Whitt and his wife, Linda, all of Roanoke; nieces, Jennifer, Amber and Allison; nephews, Jeffery, Jason and Clayton. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 1995, at Peery & St.Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, V a., with the Rev. George Mowrey, the Rev. Ted Anders, and the Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 1995.

WIGGINS, Wilson Meccoy, Sr., 59, of Vinton, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, August 14, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Anita Marie Wiggins; sons and daughter-in-law, Wilson and Lisa Wiggins, Gary Douglas Wiggins; daughters and son-in-law, June Wiggins, Lisa and Mike Light; granddaughters, Leslie Wiggins, Emily Wiggins; brothers, Charles Wiggins, Frank Wiggins and Donald Wiggins; special friends, Frank, Laura Lea and Nathan Harris. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 1995 at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vinton Rescue Squad.

WOODYARD, Dalford Allen Sr., 67, of Blacksburg, died Monday morning, August 13, 1995 in Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg, Va., following a long illness. Born at White Gate, Va., he was a son of Leona Honaker Woodyard and the late Larry Woodyard of White Gate. Allen was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pembroke and was retired from VPI&SU. Survivors include his mother; his wife, Elsie C. Dickerson Woodyard; one son, Dalford A. Woodyard Jr., Pearisburg; one daughter, Kathy W. Ratcliffe, Pearisburg; four grandchildren, Natalie, Wesley, Stephanie and Michael; one brother, Raymond Woodyard, White Gate; one sister, Mary Kay Smith, White Gate; three stepdaughters, Barbara Gillenwater and Doris Dickerson, both of Christiansburg, and Susan Higgs, Blacksburg; two stepsons, Ronald Dickerso n, Shawsville and Jimmy Dickerson, Radford. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church in Pembroke. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, Va. Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.

WSZOLEK, Pamela J., 29, of Smith Mountain Lake, died Sunday, August 13, 1995. She was employed by Signet Mortgage Corporation and was a graduate of Virginia Tech where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Ms. Wszolek was born in Trenton, N.J. Surviving are her parents, Stanley H. and Mary Jane Wszolek, Daleville; sister and brother-in-law, Paula M. and Sam Hollingsworth, Roanoke; two nehews, Garrett P. Hollingsworth and Gavin M. Hollingsworth; grandparents, Florence E. Faust, Roanoke, Emil S. and Jean Wszolek, Trenton, N.J.; great-aunt, Catherine M. Robitaille, Roanoke; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. A prayer service will be at Oakey's South Chapel 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 1995. The public is invited to attend and participate. Funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 1995. The Rev. Robert Cummins will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
