VOTER REGISTRATION IN RADFORD

The Voter Registrar has scheduled additional voter registration sites. Radford citizens may register to vote at these locations:

Thursday, Aug. 24, 3-6 p.m., Radford University plaza, during "Club Fair.

Sept. 1 through Oct. 10 during all regular hours at the Radford Public Library, 30 First St.

Sept. 9, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., during Septemberfest, downtown East End.

Sept. 15, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Ace Hardware, Central Square Plaza, 703 First St.

Sept. 22, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., U.S. Post Office, First Street Station, 324 First St.

Sept. 29, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Revco Drug, Tyler Square, 1024 Tyler Ave.

Oct. 6, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Radford University plaza.

Voters also may register weekdays (except holidays), 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Office of the General Registrar, 29 First St. (rear of Recreation Building). The office also will be open Saturday, Oct. 7, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., to register and to cast absentee ballots.

Absentee ballots for the Nov. 7 election will be accepted Oct. 28 nd Nov. 4.

Voter registration for this year's general election ends Tuesday, Oct. 10, 5 p.m., and resumes for subsequent elections Nov. 7.
