PRICE, James T. Sr., 53, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, August 20, 1995 in the Camelot Nursing Home, Salem. Mr. Price was born in Franklin County, on March 30, 1942, son of the late Thomas M. Price and Anne Price. He is survived by his wife, Clara Price; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jaqueline and Gary Perdue, Angela Price; one son, James T. Price Jr.; one grandson, Rico Perdue; two sisters, Carol Taylor and Alice Motley; four brothers, David, Ralph, Wallace and Wendell Price, all of Roanoke; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. ADAMS, Carl Maurice, 32, of Richmond, formerly of Buchanan, died Monday, August 21, 1995. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.

BROWN, Viola Bailey, 91, of Roanoke, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 19, 1995. She was a retired nurse from the former Burrell Memorial Hospital, where she served the bed-side needs of many patients during the early years when Burrell Memorial was a full service health facility. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel, with Dr. K. B. Wright, Dr. E. T. Burton and the Rev. Aubrey Pullen officiating. COTHRAN, Brian, (``Chris""), 22, of 100 Locksley Place, Forest,Va., died Sunday, August 20, 1995 in Newport News, Va. Born in Lynchburg, he was a graduate of Brookville High School and Radford University. Chris recently accepted a position with the Nationwide Insurance Co. in Fredericksburg, Va. Survivors include his parents, Sharon Darst Cothran and William L. Cothran Jr., Forest; one brother, Wesley Robert Cothran, a student at William & Mary College, Williamsburg; paternal grandparents, Anne Reynolds Cothran and William L. Cothran Sr., Forest; maternal grandparents, Lorraine Noel Darst and Robert E. Darst, Burlington, N.C.; three uncles, Robert S. Darst, Greensboro, N.C., Edward G. Darst II, Walnut Cove, N.C. and Robert S. (Bo) Cot hran, Forest; a great-aunt, Mary Ellen Darst, Salem; and numberous family members. CURTIS, Mary Lou, 67, of Fairfax,went to be with our Lord Saturday, August 19, 1995. Wife of Glenn H. Curtis. GOLDEN, Lula W., 89, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, August 19, 1995 in a local hospital. She was a retired Beautician. GREEN, James H. Jr., 65, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 20, 1995, in a local hospital. He was a retired employee of Marstella Corporation and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph W. and Eleanor Green, Roanoke; two nephews, Gerald Green, Don Griffin, both of Roanoke. KEFFER, Clara Marie Musselwhite, 72, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 20,1995. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bernard R. (""Rudy"") Keffer and son, David R. Keffer. She was retired from Colonial American National Bank with 30 years of service. She was a devoted and loving mother of 3 surviving daughters and a son-in-law, Judy A. and James J. Rose, Virginia Beach, Jean Jennings Richardson and Karen K. Stamback, both of Roanoke; five grandchildren and their spouses, David and Rena Jennings, Lisa and Bryce Freeman, Mike A. Rose, Matthew Overstreet, Jonathan Sutton; five great-grandchildren, Brian, Danya, David, Bradley and Keith; one sister, Ressie M. Dale, Orlando, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews. KING, Anna Taylor Whitman, 86, of Radford, passed away Sunday, August 20, 1995 at Radford Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. William R. Whitman Sr. of Roanoke. She is survived by her husband, Dr. James P. King Sr. of Radford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. James P. King Jr. of Galax, and Dr. and Mrs. William W. King of Radford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. (Ann K.) Lucas of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. (Susan K.) Gaskins of Radford; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dr. William R. Whitman Jr. of Roanoke. MARTIN, Howard Frank, 75, of Lexington, died Sunday, August 20, 1995 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Martin was born December 23, 1919 in New Jersey, a son of the late Howard Martin and Anna Saams Martin. He was a member of the Lexington Golf and Country Club, the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society. He was retired Vice President and Sales Manager of the Frederick Gumm Chemical Co., Kearny, N. J. He was preceded in death by a step son, Terry L. Johnston. Surviving a re his wife, Elizabeth B. Martin, Lexington; two sons, Terry Howard Martin, Danville, Calif., Robert Edward Martin, Chico, Calif.; three step sons and wives, Charles T. and Judy Johnston, Horseheads, N.Y., Richard L. Johnston, Peoria, Ill., David Karl and Katie Johnston, Peoria, Ill; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward G. and Marion Martin, Columbia, N. J.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. O'GRADY, William Francis Augustine, 75, of Portsmouth, died Monday, August 21, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital. He was a native of Northampton, Mass. He retired in 1985 from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. He was a member of The Annunciation Church, Florence, Mass., and was a friend of Monumental United Methodist Church, Portsmouth. He was a member of the American Legion Post #41 in Washington, D.C. He was a 1940 graduate of Holy Cross, and was a Navy Air Corps Lt. JG in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Maris Frances O'Grady; two daughters, Susan G. Carbiener, Oakland, Calif. and Catherine G. Tasselli, Roanoke; two sons, John Joseph O'Grady, Corpus Christi, Texas and Heinz H. Gudera, Sao Paulo, Brazil; three sisters, Anne Larareo, Florence, Mass., Margaret Leon, Fort Lee, N.J.; Marcella Labato, Florence, Mass.; two brothers-in-law, Francis H. Shepard, Northampton, Mass. and Paul Labato, Florence, Mass.; three grandchildren, J. Anthony Tasselli, Christina D. Tasselli, and Eric B. Gudera. REYNOLDS, Beulah Kay, 83, of Bedford, died Monday, August 21, 1995, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bedford County on April 11, 1912, a daughter of the late Mack Lafayette Key and Lilly Agnes Watson Key. She was the widow of Richard Layrue Reynolds. She was a retired employee of Rubatex Corporation, and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sisters; Estelle K. Ryder, Vinton, and Jessie K. St.Clair, Roanoke; also one niece; several nephews; several great nieces; and several great nephews. SHAW, Helen Laurie Rogers, 63, of Narrows, died Saturday, August 19, 1995, at her residence on East River Mountain, near Narrows. She was born in Henderson County, Texas, on August 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late George Monroe and Hassie Caldonia Fleeup Rogers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Narrows. She was an artist and the original owner of the Mountain Lake Art Gallery. She was a member of the Prospectors Club of Alaska and a member of the Giles Arts and Crafts Guild. She is survived by her husband, Don G. Shaw, Narrows; a son, George M. Marti n, Roanoke; a daughter, Barbara M. Blanchette, Washington, N.H.; a brother, Marvin Rogers, Duluth, Ga.; four sisters, Madge Ray and Lynne McMannus, both of Tehuacanna, Texas, Virginia German and Iowa Jordan, Fritch, Texas; a granddaughter, Katheryne Elizabeth Blanchette, Washington, N.H.; a grandson, Ricky Lovering, W. WEBB, Harley Dale, 74, of Appalachian Christian Village, Johnson City, Tenn., formerly of 606 Maplewood Dr., Vinton, Va., died Monday, August 21, 1995 at the Village following a lengthy illness. A native of Elizabethton, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Nina Laws Webb. Mr. Webb was a retired supervisor of Vinton Weaving in Vinton, Va. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vinton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wynona Whitehead Webb. WENDT, Margaret B., 75, of Blacksburg, died August 19, 1995 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Born in Richmond on June 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Jones and Ruth Elisse Bowman Blume. Mrs. Wendt was a member of the Northside Baptist Church at Mechanicsville.
