PAVING LIKELY TO DELAY I-81 TRAFFIC

Southbound motorists should expect traffic delays on Interstate 81 near Ironto through the end of the week because of paving work.

One lane is closed from milepost 128 to milepost 125 up Christiansburg Mountain.

Drivers should use extreme caution because lane markings have been removed.

Questions about construction should be directed to the Virginia Department of Transportation office in Christiansburg at 381-7200.
