DRIVER PULLED FROM TRUCK; VEHICLE TAKEN

A truck driver for Hickory River Plantation meat company was taken to Lewis-Gale Hospital with minor injuries Tuesday night after a man dragged her from her truck and drove away in it.

The woman was pulled from her truck at a stop sign at 20th and Center streets Northwest about 9 p.m., according to Roanoke police.

The man, who was unarmed, and the truck are being sought by Roanoke police.
