CHRISTIANSBURG - Levi Garrett of KOOL Country WBNK (100.7 FM) and WNRV (990 AM) broadcasts live from Newberry Ford in Pearisburg Friday, Aug. 25, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

He'll offer free pizza from Pizza Plus for lunch.

Saturday, Aug. 26, Garrett is on the air live, 2-6 p.m., from Holiday Ford-Mazda, U.S. 460 between Blacksburg and Christiansburg. Sierra performs live, 1-5 p.m. The station will have free hot dogs and Pepsi.

At both live broadcasts, the station will give away New River Valley Speedway and West Virginia University football tickets, KOOL Country prize packs and other freebies.

RADFORD - The Radford Chamber of Commerce sponsors a membership mixer Wednesday, Aug. 30, 5:30-7 p.m., Carmella's Gourmet Italian Restaurant, 1033 Norwood St.
