1995-96 BOWL SCHEDULE

The Bowl Alliance, in effect starting this season, includes champions from the ACC, Big East, Big Eight, Southeastern and Southwest Conferences and Notre Dame, if it is ranked in the top 10 in either The Associated Press or USA Today-CNN polls. (One at-large spot is open to any bowl-eligible team if Notre Dame isn't in the top 10 of eiother poll.) When the Southwest Conference folds after this season, an at-large choice will be part of the alliance each year along with four conference champs and Notre Dame. The at-large spot would be made available to the WAC champion, if the team is ranked high enough to be consisdered.
