JOHN T. DOMALSKI has been promoted to director, military marketing and sales of ITT Electro-Optical Products Division in Roanoke. He replaces JAMES F. MALLOY who has been reassigned as director, U.S. Army marketing. In his new capacity, Domalski will oversee the marketing and sales efforts for all U.S. and international business.
In his previous position, Domalski was director, U.S. government marketing, responsible for securing U.S. military contracts. During his tenure, ITT Electro-Optical received the maximum allowable portion of all U.S. Army contracts awarded for night vision devices.
He joined ITT in 1988 as manager, advanced programs, in the business development department.
BANKING
JACKSON E. REASOR has joined Premier Trust Co. in Bluefield as president, chief executive officer and director. He comes to Premier Trust with 12 years of trust experience, most recently as a partner with the firm Galumbeck, Simmons & Reasor in Tazewell. He is a member of the Virginia Senate. Premier Trust Co. is affiliated with Premier Bankshares Corp., a bank holding company based in Bluefield with 35 locations in Southwest Virginia.
Piedmont BankGroup Inc. in Martinsville has appointed JOHN W. HOEFERKAMP as card services manager, JULIE A. SEARS as corporate tax officer and MYRNA M. FERGUSON has loan services manager. Hoeferkamp joined Piedmont Trust Bank in 1990 as transaction card manager. Sears worked for KPMG Peat Marwick as a tax manager before coming to Piedmont BankGroup this year. Ferguson has worked in the mortgage loan department of Piedmont Trust Bank since 1968, most recently as loan servicing officer.
EDGAR R. TUCK has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager of First Union National Bank of Virginia's 460 East office in Roanoke. He previously was assistant manager of the Vinton office.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
JOHN SHERMAN has been promoted to the newly-created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer of Richmond-based Scott & Stringfellow Inc., a subsidiary of Scott & Stringfellow Financial Inc. Sherman formerly was head of branch administration for Scott & Stringfellow Inc.'s 26 offices in Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia. Also at the firm, STEVEN C. DELANEY has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Additionally, he has been elected to the board of Scott & Stringfellow Financial Inc.
GOVERNMENT
Gov. George Allen has appointed several Southwest Virginia residents to boards: ARTHUR C. HEBERER III, president of Import Auto Recycling Inc. of Salem, Motor Vehicle Dealer Board; ANN C. HOWARD of Salem, early childhood specialist, and JOHN WILLIAM WILCHER, director of Craig County Department of Social Services, Virginia Council on Child Day Care and Early Childhood Programs; RICHARD LIN of Roanoke, architectural CADD operator with the real estate division of Advance Auto Parts Inc., board of directors of the Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority; D. PHILIP PLASTER, retired partner with Today's Floors and Furniture and current member of the Patrick County board of supervisors, board of Southside Virginia Development Authority; and DAVID A. NUTTER, associate director of university relations for public affairs at Virginia Tech, Blue Ridge Economic Development Advisory Council.
HEALTH CARE
MARILYN MONTANO has been promoted to general manager of Roanoke Athletic Club, an affiliate of Carilion Health System. She has been with the athletic club for six years, starting as program director for two years, then becoming membership services director in 1991. PATTI STANFORD has been named sales manager at RAC. She recently relocated to Roanoke from Atlanta, where she had been a sales representative.
JOHN R. LAREW, manager of equal employment opportunity at Appalachian Power Co. in Roanoke, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Virginia Health Quality Center. Formerly known as the Medical Society of Virginia Review Organization, the center is a nonprofit organization which holds contracts with the Health Care Financing Administration to provide quality assurance and utilization review services for Medicare beneficiaries in Virginia and with the U.S. Department of Defense to provide similar services to CHAMPUS beneficiaries in 12 southeastern and southwestern states.
TIMOTHY W. LUCAS of Cloverdale has been named the 1995 Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year by the Virginia Pharmaceutical Association. The award is presented for individual excellence, outstanding contributions in state pharmacy association activities, community affairs and professional practice. Lucas has been employed at Green's Drug Store Inc. in Bedford for the past two years.
INSURANCE
Allstate Insurance agent PATRICIA S. HALL has been elected into the Virginia Association of Life Underwriters Hall of Fame. Hall has been with Allstate since 1975 and has received numerous company achievement awards.

CARR L. KINDER JR. and BARRY M. FOGEL, both formerly with Bird, Kinder & Huffman in Roanoke, have formed the law firm of Kinder & Fogel, a general practice Roanoke law firm with emphasis on personal injury, real estate, family law and criminal defense cases.
MANUFACTURING
Cassco Ice & Cold Storage Inc. has appointed ROBERT ANDREW to division manager of its Roanoke ice distribution facility, which services the Roanoke metropolitan area, Lynchburg and Smith Mountain Lake with packaged ice for the retail market. Andrew brings to the position more than 10 years of experience in ice sales and service. Cassco is a subsidiary of Broadway-based WLR Foods Inc., providers of turkey and chicken products.
MEDIA
SHERRI SLEDD has been named traffic manager at WJPR/WFXR Fox 21 Fox 27 in Roanoke. She previously was traffic assistant at the station for 15 months.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
LINDA L. HOLSINGER, vice president of marketing and communications for the United Way of Roanoke Valley, has been appointed national professional advisor for the Public Relations Student Society of America, an organization of approximately 5,000 members with 189 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the United States. During her two-year term, Holsinger will provide guidance to national student leaders, approve new student chapters and participate in national student conferences and seminars.
UTILITIES
STANLEY E. CRAUN has been named regional manager of Virginia Power's Alleghany/Rockbridge Region effective Sept. 1. Craun, who previously was manager of the Orange district since 1981, succeeds WARD H. ROBENS JR. The Alleghany district includes Alleghany and northern Botetourt counties, Clifton Forge, Covington, Iron Gate and Buchanan; and the Rockbridge district includes Rockbridge and parts of Amherst and Augusta counties, Buena Vista, Lexington, Glasgow, Goshen and Craigsville, with a combined regional total of 24,200 electricity customers.
Craun has been with Virginia Power since 1969.
