GALA, HOME TOUR RAISE MONEY FOR MS

The Fifth Anniversary Ball, to be held in conjunction with the 1995 MS Home Tour at Smith Mountain Lake, is set for Sept. 16 at the Waterfront Country Club.

Lee Ann Necessary, WSLS-TV News anchor, will be the mistress of ceremonies, and music will be by The Kings.

The gala is held two weeks in advance of the tour and honors major sponsors and homeowners. Live and silent auctions will be held.

The tour, showing 10 lakefront homes, will be held Sept. 29-Oct 1. Attendees may travel to the various homes by car or boat.

Advance tickets are $10 and are available at ticket outlets throughout the area. After Sept. 28, tickets are $15.

Proceeds from tickets sales provide funding for a variety of services that help people with MS and their families in the Blue Ridge Chapter Region. Funds also go toward research and other projects.
