Marty R. Stacy pleaded no contest to two drug charges in July - conspiracy to sell marijuana and distribution of marijuana.
Judge Roy Willett sentenced him to two years for each charge, to be suspended after serving 60 days for each charge, said Stacy's attorney, Anthony F. Anderson.
Stacy is the brother-in-law of former Roanoke College adviser Robert W. Bess, who pleaded no contest to three related drug charges in June.
Bess will be sentenced Friday in Salem Circuit Court on charges of conspiring to sell marijuana, possessing marijuana on school grounds and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
Stacy and Bess were arrested after former Roanoke College student Eric Reich implicated the men as his suppliers. Reich said he bought drugs from Bess several times and from Stacy twice. Reich was arrested in November for possession of marijuana, Prozac and Valium with intent to distribute the drugs, and agreed to cooperate with police weeks after his arrest.
Reich will be sentenced Thursday in Salem Circuit Court.
